This phenomenon is known as " overscaling ". This problem usually occurs due to incorrect graphics settings on your computer. To solve the problem, you just need to follow these simple steps.

In this fix we explain the process using the NVIDIA Control Panel that comes with the native NVIDIA GPU. If you have an AMD GPU on your computer, you will find almost similar graphics settings. So, follow this method to fix the problem on your end.
How to fix desktop overscaling in Windows 10
Follow these simple steps to change your computer's graphics settings-
1. Click the search box next to the Windows icon and type " NVIDIA Control Panel ".
2. Now click on " NVIDIA Control Panel " in the elevated search result.
3. In the NVIDIA Control Panel window, click " Adjust desktop size and position " on the left side .
4. Now go to the " Size " tab on the right side .
5. Next , enable the " Enable desktop resizing " option .
6. Then click " Resize " to resize the computer screen.
7. Click Apply and Continue .
You'll notice four arrows at four different corners, representing the four vertices of the display. You need to adjust the slider to fit the screen.
8. Now adjust the slider until you can see the taskbar and desktop icons clearly.
9. Click " OK " to save the changes.
After adjusting the slider, your overscaling issue should be resolved.
