Did you accidentally uninstall the biometric device through Device Manager and it doesn't come back? Normally, uninstalling a device from Device Manager comes back with Windows installing the default version of that driver when your computer boots up. However, if you don't see the biometric device on your computer, it means that Windows cannot install the driver.
Fix 1 - Install HelloFace.inf
You need to install Helloface.inf on your computer.
1. Open File Explorer by pressing Windows key+E at the same time .
2. Then go to this place-
C:\Windows\System32\WinBioPlugIns\FaceDriverIf you cannot find the "HelloFace.inf" in the above location,
go to this place-
C:\Windows\WinSxSb. Then type " hello face " in the search box.
c. In the search results folder, double -click the folder that appears in the search results.
i.e. In this folder you will find the " Helloface.inf ".
3. You will notice the " HelloFace.inf " file there.
4. Now right click on the HelloFace.inf file and click Install to install the driver on your computer.
5. You will see the message "The operation completed successfully". Just click " OK ".
Once you've done that, just restart your computer.
Fix 2 - Download and reinstall the driver
You can easily download the driver and install it on your system.
1. Go to the biometric device manufacturer's website.
2. Then download the latest version of the biometric device driver to your computer.
3. After the drivers have downloaded, close the browser. Run the downloaded setup file.
4. Follow the process instructions to complete the installation process.
After that, restart the computer once the installation process is complete.
The biometric device will appear in Device Manager.
