Many users report error 1935 while installing a software as a common problem. You will get the error message starting with message as shown below:-
Error 1935. There was an error installing the assembly component
But there is a sigh of relief because there is a solution to this. Here we have collected working methods to fix this problem.
Note:-You can try disabling your antivirus software and see if the problem is solved or not. If it doesn't solve your problem, follow the procedures given below.
Method 1-Using Command Prompt
Sometimes the Windows file system transaction log gets corrupted. This can be the reason for this type of error. To fix this :-
1-Search CMD in Windows 10 search bar.
2-Right-click the Command Prompt icon and select Run as administrator .
3-Now type the following command below in Command Prompt.
fsutil-Ressource setautoreset true C:\
Note:-If your Windows 10 OS is installed on a different drive, select the drive letter instead of C.
4-Now restart your PC.
Method 2-Editing Registry Editor
1-Press Windows key+R together on your keyboard.
2- Type regedit and press Enter.
3-Now in Registry Editor, navigate to the following location.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE->SYSTEM->CurrentControlSet->Control
4-Locate RegistrySizeLimit on the right side.
If RegistrySizeLimit is not found on the right side, just right click and create New > DWORD (32 or 64 bit) Value and name it as RegistrySizeLimit .
5-Double click on RegistrySizeLimit to change it.
6-Now enter ffffffff as Value data in Hexadecimal Value option.
7-Now select the Decimal radio button and enter 4294967295 as the value data.
8-Now press Ok , close everything and restart your PC.
Method 3-Run the program or app in compatibility mode
1-Right click on the installation file and select Properties .
2-Now select the Compatibility tab .
3-Finally, check the Run the program in compatibility mode box and select a previous version of Windows.
4-Finally, click Apply and OK.
Now try to run the installer again. Your problems will be solved.
