Just follow these instructions to solve this particular problem on your computer.
Fix 1-Change Registry Editor
You must change the registry associated with the registry.
1. First, click the Windows icon and type " regedit " in the search box.
2. Then tap " Registry Editor " in the search results to access it.
Warning: The registry editor is the most sensitive part of your system. Before changing/deleting a key from the registry, we recommend that you create a backup copy of the registry on your computer.
After opening Registry Editor, click File . Then click " Export " to create a new backup on your computer.

After that, close the registry editor and restart your computer once. Then follow these steps.
9. Open the Microsoft Store from the Start menu.
10. Then click " Library " on the left side .
11. Tap on " Get Updates " on the right to find the updates for your device.
Windows will now start installing the pending Gaming Services update along with other updates on your computer.
If that doesn't work, you can update the gaming service manually.

This will fix the problem.
Fix 4 : Reset game services
If nothing works for you, there is a slightly more advanced solution that you can try.
Step 1
1. First, press the Windows key+I keys at the same time.
2. From Settings on the left panel, tap " Apps ".
3. Then click " Apps & Features " in the right pane.
4. Now scroll down to find the " Gaming Services " app.
5. Then click on the three-dot menu and tap on " Advanced options ".
6. Now click on the " Reset " option and then click on " Reset " to reset the game services for good.
After you reset the game service, you can close the settings window.
step 2
Now you need to remove the Gaming Services files from your WindowsApps folder. But first you need to take ownership of this folder.
1. Open File Explorer.
2. Then go to this location :
C:/Program Files3. Next, right-click the WindowsApps folder and click Properties to customize it.

a. In File Explorer, click the three-dot menu and tap " Options ".

Now you will see the WindowsApps folder.

4. After that, go to the " Security " section.
5. Also, tap on " Advanced " to go to the advanced settings page.
6. Normally this folder belongs to other users.
7. To change ownership, click Change .
8. Also click on " Advanced ".
9. You need to tap "Find Now ".
10. Here you will see a list of users and groups. Select the User account from the list.
11. Click " OK ".
12. Finally, click " OK " to change ownership.
13. Now check the box next to " Replace owner for subcontainer and object " . Click " Apply " to save the changes made so far.
14. Now you need to give your account full control over the folder.
15. Just click " Add ".
16. Then click " Select Principal ".
17. Click " Advanced " again.
18. Click Find Now again .
19. Select " Users " from the list.
20. Save the change by clicking " OK ".
21. Finally, tap " OK " to save it.
22. Next , check the box next to " Full Control" to get full control over the folder.
23. Then click " OK " to save it.
24. Finally, click " Apply " and then click " OK ".
25. When you return to Advanced Security Settings, click Apply and OK to complete the process.
26. Now double click on the WindowsApps folder to access it.
27. Look here for all folders that start with the identifier " Microsoft.GamingServices ".
28. Select them and tap on the " Delete " icon in the menu bar .
Now close the File Explorer window.
Step 3-
Now you need to delete some registry keys if they are not already deleted automatically.
1. Press the Windows key+R keys at the same time .
2. Then type " regedit " and press Enter .
3. now, paste this location into the address bar and press Enter .

6. Now follow the same instructions and remove these keys from registry-

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\GamingServicesNetClose the registry editor.
Then restart the computer.
step 4
After all these steps, all you have to do is reinstall the game services.
1. Open a browser window and go to these gaming services in the store.
2. Now tap on " Get " and click on " Open " to open the link in the store.
3. Now you can easily reinstall the game services.
