Some Windows 10 users have recently complained that .ogg files crash File Explorer on their c
omputers. Although Windows Media Player doesn't natively support this format, the Groove Music app supports it. So if a specific .ogg file doesn't open or crashes File Explorer, don't worry. Just follow these simple fixes to solve the problems.

Fix 2 - Use shell extension display
You must use the Shell Extension Viewer to list which application is causing this problem.

2. Then you need to extract the downloaded ZIP file to a location of your choice.
3. Go to the folder where you extracted the ZIP file.

Now you only see the third-party extensions.
7. First, right-click on the first extension in the list and click " Disable Selected Item ".
Minimize the ShellExview screen.
Once disabled, try accessing the .ogg file in File Explorer.
Check whether File Explorer crashes automatically or not. There are two options here-
