 Some Windows 10 users experience freezes when trying to type something into their computers. This problem is common among users who just upgraded their system to Windows 10. If you encounter a similar problem on your system, then you don't need to worry any more. Just follow these simple fixes to get rid of this strange problem.

Fix 1 - Turn off filter button

Sometimes the filter keys can cause a problem on your system.

1. Click the Windows icon and then click the gear-shaped icon on the left.

2. Then click on " Ease of Access ".

3. Scroll down on the left side and click " Keyboard ".

4. In the right pane, set Use Filter Key to Off .

Now restart your computer Check if this solves your problem.

Fix 2 - End incompatible tasks

Since you upgraded to Windows 10 from an older Windows, some of the applications are not compatible.

NOTE - In most cases it is the WiFi driver or the Bluetooth driver on your computer that causes this problem. ]

1. Press the Windows key+X keys at the same time .

2. After that, click on " Task Manager ".

3. When Task Manager opens, look for processes (like Bluetooth Driver or WiFi Driver) associated with an older version of Windows.

4. Right-click the running Bluetooth process and click " End Task ".

The typing problem should stop after that. You need to install updated drivers for Windows 10.

Fix-4 Run Keyboard Troubleshooter

1. Just press the Windows key and the I key at the same time.

2. Now click on " Update & Security ".

3. Then click " Troubleshoot " on the left side .

4. Then click " More Troubleshooting " on the right.

5. Now from the right pane of the Settings window, select the " Keyboard " troubleshooter .

6. Now click on " Run the troubleshooter " to start the troubleshooting process.

Follow the on-screen instructions in the Troubleshooting window .

Fix 5 - Clean boot your computer

If this problem occurs due to a third-party application on your system, clean boot can help you to solve the problem.

1. Press the Windows key+R keys at the same time .

2. In the terminal, type " msconfig ". Click OK .

3. Once the System Configuration window opens, click on " General ".

4. After that, just click the radio button next to the Selective Start option .

5. After this step, you need to check the box next to " Load system services " .

6. Go to the Services section .

7. Next, you need to enable the " Hide all Microsoft services ".

8. Finally, to disable all third-party applications, you need to click on " Disable All ".

9. You need to click on the " Start " section.

10. Click on " Open Task Manager ".

10. After you open Task Manager, just right-click on the item that you want to disable from starting automatically and click " Disable ".

If you have disabled unnecessary applications from launching, close the Task Manager window.
