6. Select a previous restore point from the list displayed and click Next
7. Follow the prompts to complete the restore.
8. Once the process is complete, your PC will restart at a previous point where the error did not occur. Now check if you can launch the application/game without errors.
Solution 4 – Use taskkill command
1.Just press Windows + R key combination to Run
to open
2. Type cmd and press Shift + Ctrl + Enter to open Command Prompt with administrator privileges .
3. Type the following commands and press Enter after each one.
taskkill /f /fi "DIENSTE eq wuauserv"
net stop cryptSvc
Netto-Stoppbits
net stop msiserver
ren C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.old
rmdir C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\DataStore
rmdir C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download
4. Restart your PC and check if the error persists.
